I’m Doing It Again!

For a number of years I have been sending out an email once a week to those people who receive The Pep Letter. In that brief email, for most of this year, I have included the following: “May this Year be the greatest year of your life so far!”

Now why should I leave that on those emails when there are only 42 days of the year left?  And, if this has not been the greatest year of your life so far, how in the world could it possibly end up being the greatest year of your life with so little time left?

Let’s Consider 42 days

Well, first of all, let’s consider 42 days.  What can you accomplish in 42 days?   Studies have shown that you can either eliminate or develop a new habit in three weeks.  With a little effort and focus over the next 42 days, what could you change for the better in your life?

If you spent just one hour a day, learning something new, how much could you learn over the next 42 days?  42 hours of learning could be a very valuable asset to you.

Here’s The point Of This Blog!

But, most important, and the point of this blog – don’t overlook the obvious and most important factor for these next 42 days – God!

What can God do in your life over the next 42 days?  What doors can He lead you to and through?  What deliverance can He bring into your life?

You can read many records in the Bible where God did some very astonishing and wonderful things for people in less than 42 days.  Some in one day; some in just hours; still others in mere moments!

Here’s A Plan!

So, here is a plan:  First, pray everyday for the next 42 days and ask God for His help, His direction, and His deliverance.  Keep your eyes and ears open and look for and expect it!

Secondly, set a plan for what you can do over the next 42 days, and then go after it.  Just do your best.

Why not expect this year to be the greatest year of your life so far? Regardless of what has happened thus far!  Why not?  How big is your God?
