I Am Not Howard Beale!

I just posted an article this morning called, “Turn Off The News!  I’m not trying to boss people around and tell them what they should do or should not do.  I’m really not trying to be like Howard Beale.  Remember him?

In the late 70’s there was a movie called, “Network.” The movie starred, Peter Finch, who played the part of Howard Beale, a TV anchorman, who encouraged everyone to not only turn their television sets off, but he also urged them to throw their television sets out the window!  Literally!

This new article will be very helpful and practical especially during these days of uncertainty.  We must be very particular about our mental diet.  And lately, so much of the “news” has turned into “predictions.”

So, when you read the article, “Turn Off The News,” just remember that I am not trying to be, Howard Beale!
