Out Of Your Control

This is a follow up to what I wrote yesterday.  There are a lot of things that are outside of our control.  The current economic situations in our country are not in our control.  But we certainly do feel and experience their effects.

What is important is how you respond to the things going on around you and especially the things that are directly affecting you.  Far too many people are reacting with fear, anger, disappointment, and frustration.

Yet, reacting and thinking that way simply leaves you frustrated, angry, negative, and depressed.  All of the energy that you could use looking for solutions is being wasted on something that never helps or solves anything. Really it is when someone finally gets sick and tired of whining and complaining, they can begin to start down a productive road.

Sadly, a lot of people just sit there and wallow in the negatives and never get up and out of it!

As I mentioned yesterday, life has an ebb and flow.  There are cycles; there are ups and downs. And for the most part, do you have no control over those cycles?  No, not really.  So then why not put your energy and attention and focus on what you do have control over.  You!

Only you can control your own thoughts.  Only you can decide where your focus and attention will be.  Only you can decide what your mindset is going to be. And your mindset will determine where your own life goes, despite what is going on around you.

And regardless of the times we live in, God is not, and never will be out of business!
