Today starts a brand new month!  We will begin posting August content next week to give everyone a chance to catch up on some of July’s content!  Meanwhile, today’s blog has more about fear.

Refuse To Live With Fear!

There is a lot of fear.

Fear of losing a job.  Fear of getting a disease.  Fear of death.  Fear of a falling economy. Fear of crime.  Fear of an accident.  Fear of failure.

The sad thing is that most of the news that you hear or watch really helps to reinforce all the fears that people already have, and it even gives them some new things to be afraid of!

Instead of accepting the facts and becoming full of fear, why not accept the promises from God? Why not dwell on those? Why not decide to believe what God has said?

Oh, I know, the philosophy of the day is to “accept your fears; learn to live with your fears; everyone has fears, it is normal.” And yet, the Bible says, “I sought the Lord and He heard me and delivered me from all my fears.”

Fear is your enemy. Fear never helps; it only hinders and defeats you. Fear is like pouring sand into a machine.  Fear does not promote life, but it will certainly get you to your grave a lot quicker!

Refuse to live with fear. You can either choose to believe all the “news” you hear, or, believe the promises from God.  Ask Him for help because He has promised to deliver you from all your fears.
