Getting ready to drive off in my wife’s car the other day, I checked and adjusted her mirrors. I first adjusted the side mirrors and then finally the rearview mirror. And suddenly, it dawned on me. Ever notice how much smaller the rearview mirror is than the windshield?

Instead of focusing on how bad the problems are, focus your mind and attention on getting to the solutions! Isn’t that what you want to bring into your life? Focus you mind and attention on finding those solutions!

You can either accept your life the way it is now, or, you can get on the path to where you really desire your life to go. I am going to challenge you to follow a simple exercise for three weeks. If you do, you will initiate a major change of focus in your mind that will help you greatly in achieving your dreams and desires.

In life we many times feel, “stuck.” We wonder how we got into the situation that we are presently in. It is in those times that we need to be careful with how we define it. Have we failed, or, is it just a setback?

Since late last summer the cost of oil has skyrocketed to record prices. But that’s not the real energy crisis. The real energy crisis is in the price millions of Americans pay every day for worrying. Yes, worrying!

I believe in opportunities coming my way. I believe in God bringing people and situations into my life because I have prayed and am expecting those kinds of things to happen on a regular basis. But, do I believe in luck and fate? No thanks!

Some people believe that God wants us to live life to the fullest! They choose to expand. They learn to deal with their new choices. They refuse to accept an obstacle as a sign that the choice was wrong. They look to God for help and direction on their new path.

There are a lot of people living in self-pity, going around with the, “poor me” attitude. Their talk is always about defeat. Perhaps they have forgotten that we have the best “connection” there is!

None of us can escape all the negatives we see and hear every day. But we can choose how we will respond. I don’t want my life to be like a little boy in my parent’s car, just going along for the ride. I want to be in the driver’s seat!
